Skopje, 14 November 2017 (MIA) - The possibilities and potentials of investment in Macedonia, new government’s policies in economic and foreign investments sphere were presented by the Prime Minister Zoran Zaev at Tuesday’s working breakfast with representatives of Slovenia’s chambers of commerce and representatives of several important companies, who showed interest in investment opportunities and cooperation with Macedonia.
He informed Slovenian businessmen that the Macedonian government is ready to participate in subsidizing greenfield and brownfield investments that will create new jobs, to establish cooperation with Macedonian companies for services and raw and processed materials, which will be export-oriented and will be environmentally friendly industries.
We want to assure you that Macedonia, with the new government’s policies in the economic sphere, and in the area of foreign investments, can offer you a good environment for developing your business initiatives, Zaev underlined at the meeting.
He also introduced Slovenian businessmen with the Economy Minister Kresnik Bektesi and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Ljupco Nikolovski, who exchanged views on business life in Slovenia, Government press office informs.
Slovenian business community representatives supported new possibilities from the economic growth plan and showed interest in investing in the metal processing industry, electronics, in the field of energy and automotive industry, especially in the field of electric vehicles and the opportunities for development of business activities in the environment and the pharmaceutical industry.
Slovenian businessmen showed interest for new initiatives in the financial and insurance sector. sk/11:57
