Vice-Premier Angjusev: Macedonia creates stable business climate for investors

Skopje, 14 January 2017 (MIA) - Macedonia's government has been working on advancing the business climate for investors, who may be sure that their businesses will be protected and that the law is to be equal for everybody, Vice-Premier Koco Angjusev said Tuesday at the panel ' Macedonia: Turning New Page' - part of the 5th annual Transatlantic Economic Forum in Washington.

Public trust in the government's policies and visions has been confirmed at the recent local elections, as the government coalition scored a landslide victory, winning the mayoral posts in 70 out of 81 municipalities, Angjusev said.

He reaffirmed the government's strategic priorities - Macedonia's accession to the European Union and NATO, saying that the membership status in these organizations is a privilege that offers opportunity for enhancing the country's security and economic prosperity.

Foreign companies are welcomed in Macedonia, Angjusev said, and invited businessmen from the US and Mediterranean countries to get familiar with the country's plan for economic growth and consider the possibility to realize their future operations in Macedonia. lk/21:19
