Skopje, 17 January 2018 (MIA) -- The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia, aided by the European Fund for Southeast Europe, has produced two financial literacy brochures: Journey into the World of Money, and Financial Education Guide. Their aim is to help young citizens make healthy financial decisions from an early age.
The brochures are practical and brief guides explaining the history of money and teaching financial literacy in an accessible way. They are available in Macedonian and Albanian.
Journey into the World of Money, according to the NBRM, offers information on money as an important element of everyday life, along with its history, origin, current use, features, functions, and forms. It also provides details on Macedonia's national currency.
Financial Education Guide was designed to teach young people smart money management skills and responsible spending. It includes advice on how to manage your income, how to save money, and how to set up a budget.
The brochures were published as part of NBRM's Financial Education Project and can be downloaded directly from the bank's official website, www.nbrm.mk, and from EFSE's site, www.efse.lu, or by going to Journey into the World of Money, and Financial Education Guide.
The printed versions are available in NRBM's offices. mr/ba/15:51
