Skopje, 7 March 2018 (MIA) - More intensive economic relations between Macedonia and Poland require boosted cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two countries, concluded Deputy PM Koco Angjusev and Poland's Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technologies Jadwiga Emilewicz.
Holding a meeting in Warsaw, Angjusev and Emilewicz concurred that economic cooperation was in an upward trend voicing hopes that business ties would further develop with the inauguration of the Skopje-Warsaw direct flight as of June 2018.
The interlocutors also discussed ways to cooperate in agriculture, Angjusev's office said in a press release.
Moreover, he presented the government's Economic Growth Plan, a set of measures aimed at stimulating economic activities of the companies in Macedonia.
Minister Emilewicz said that the Polish government was focused on implementing measures for growth and development of the economy, based on support of research and development.
The Macedonian Deputy PM for economic affairs is paying a day-long visit to Warsaw, where he also met with officials of companies that are members of the Polish-Balkan Chamber of Commerce. ba/20:38
