Munich, 16 February 2018 (MIA) - Macedonia is committed to resolving the problems and dealing with challenges standing on its way to the EU, NATO membership, Defense Minister Radmila Sekerisnka said Friday at a meeting with European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations at the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, also attended by Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov.
Hahn on his part commended the Macedonian government's efforts to implement reforms and reaffirmed the EU readiness to keep supporting the country to that effect.
In Munich, Sekerinska also held talks with her Canadian counterpart Harjit Sajjan, who voiced full support of Macedonia's bid to join NATO. He also extended gratitude to Macedonian soldiers for their contribution to the Afghan peace mission 'Resolute Support', the Ministry of Defense said in a press release.
Sekerisnska and her Montenegrin colleague Predrag Boskovic expressed satisfaction with the excellent bilateral cooperation in the sphere of defense. Boskovic affirmed his country's support of Macedonia's aspirations to join the EU and NATO, the press release reads. lk/18:51
