Skopje, 7 December 2017 (MIA) - In light of national holiday St.Clement of Ohrid on Friday, the Macedonian Orthodox Church will hold an academy under the Prime Minister's auspices in the Macedonian National Theatre (MNT) on Thursday.
Archbishop Stefan and PM Zoran Zaev are set to address the event, also including the performance of the Macedonian Philharmonic Stringed Quartet.
National and University Library "St.Clement of Ohrid" will hold an observance, addressed by Culture Minister Robert Alagjozovski.
Skopje-based Faculty of Pedagogy "St.Clement of Ohrid" will hold a poetry reading, whereas the Bitola University Library organizes event titled "Power of Letters".
In addition, the Macedonian Cinematheque will screen a film dedicated to St.Clement of Ohrid, while Dejan Donev from the Faculty of Philosophy will deliver a lecture in the EU InfoCentre.
The 2017 national award "St.Clement of Ohrid" will be presented in the Parliament on Friday. ik/08:58
