Skopje, 26 February 2018 (MIA) – Minister of Defense Radmila Shekerinska and Faculty of Security Dean Nikola Dujovski signed a memorandum of cooperation in Skopje on Monday.
Minister Shekerinska said the Ministry of Defense has been working to include the contributions of various institutions towards the country's defense and making efforts to create career opportunities for young people.
"In a small country," Shekerinska said, "you have to take care of your resources. The most important resource in Macedonia are people, their knowledge, and their skills. We need to find ways to harness the capacities of the academic community."
She said the goal of the memorandum is to improve the current cooperation and to provide students of the Faculty of Security with opportunities to gain practical experience while working in the Ministry.
Minister Shekerinska will also give a talk at the Faculty of Security on the future of transatlantic relations and the international security crisis. mr/12:09
