Skopje, 30 April 2013 (MIA) - The Government has a common stance over the name talks. We are aware this obstacle must be overcome in order to open the EU and NATO integration path. Unfortunately, we all know this path will not open if a solution is not found and we should all be commited and hoping a favorable compromise will be found, said Vice Premier Musa Xhaferi, who accompanies DUI leader Ali Ahmeti during a visit to the United States.
Xhaferi did not say if they would meet with UN envoy Matthew Nimetz.
"Ahmeti will meet our people living there and U.S. administration officials. Diverse topics will be tackled, including political processes in Macedonia and the region, future priorities", he added.
According to him, the Government has a common stance over the name talks, regardless of the public opinion.
"We are all aware this obstacle must be overcome in order to open the EU and NATO integration path. Unfortunately, we all know that this path will not open if a solution is not found and we should all be commited and hoping a favorable compromise will be found. We believe that both sides or all sides should win, resulting in Macedonia's NATO and EU accession, joining our neighbors there", said Vice Premier Xhaferi. ik/13:16
