Skopje, 10 April 2016 (MIA) - Nikolai Erdman's play 'Life is Beautiful', staged by prominent Bulgarian director Alexander Morfov, will have its premiere Sunday at the Macedonian National Theater (MNT).
MNT announced the premiere as an event that 'will make the audience cry and laugh to tears'.
"Staging of this play is a realization of a great dream and significant point of MNT's search for creative challenges," MNT Director Dejan Projkovski told a press conference on Thursday.
Morfov expressed satisfaction for being able to once again work in friendly Macedonia and cooperate with favored actors Nikola Ristanovski, Nikolina Kujaca and Zvezada Angelovska.
"We are beginning to feel as life loses meaning. The politics has become the most horrible sphere, a world of people dealing with money and themselves. In this respect I have found the 'Life is Beautiful' as necessary to give something to common people. They should reach the hell to understand what's most important in life," Morfov said.
Following the premiere on Sunday, 'Life is Beatuful' will be on MNT program on April 15-16. lk/10:38
