Skopje, 14 November 2017 (MIA) - The trial of ‘Trust’ case is to be held Tuesday in Skopje's Criminal Court. The first hearing on Nov. 7 was postponed to Nov. 14 as defence lawyers did not receive the list of evidence proposed by the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPO).
SPO prosecutor Gavrilo Bubevski said that they submitted the sufficient number of evidence copies to the court and according to the procedure, the court is obliged to hand over the list of evidence along with the indictments to the defence.
Businessman Sead Kocan is the principle defendant in the 'Trust' case. Along with two persons and the companies ‘Transmet,’ ‘Sileks’ and ‘Vato’ from Studenicani are charged for committing a felony for winning a EUR 17 million tender from ELEM state power company by using forged documentation.
The SPO opened the case based on three wiretapped conversations, two of which were not released in the public during Aug. 3, and Oct. 6, 2011. sk/09:53
