Skopje, 20 February 2018 (MIA) - Macedonian Writers' Association (MWA) organises Tuesday a panel discussion dedicated to academician Milan Gjurcinov on his 90th birth anniversary.
Academician Vlada Urosevic, Prof. Dr. Elizabeta Seleva, Prof. Dr. Lidija Kapusevska Drakulevska, Prof. Dr. Sonja Stojmenska Elzeser and Prof. Dr. Dimitrija Ristevski will participate at the panel titled “The epoch of aesthetic pluralism - a debate on criticism.”
At the panel’s opening, MWA President Vele Smilevski will present Gjurcinov with the Charter of the Macedonian Writers' Association on his 60-year membership in the MWA.
Milan Gjurcinov was the Professor Emeritus at the Department of Slavonic Studies and the Department of Comparative Literature at the Blaze Koneski Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. He is an interpreter of 20th century Macedonian literature and one of the best-known Macedonian Literary Critics who have contributed most to the recognition of contemporary Macedonian poetry and prose both at home and abroad. sk/12:16
