Skopje, 16 May 2018 (MIA) - Our future depends on the commitment to enhance the country's economic growth, the support to successful businesses, regional cooperation and respect, Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi told conference "Investment Perspective: Western Balkans", which took place in Sofia.
The conference was held under the auspices of the Bulgarian EU Presidency, organized by the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF).
The event focused on the economic potential of countries in the Western Balkans, as well as investment perspectives for business development in the region.
Minister Bekteshi addressed the roundtable discussion on the economic potential of the Western Balkans, saying economic prosperity is essential for long-term stability and development of the SEE, but also a prerequisite for a more efficient Euro-integration process.
"Adoption of the SEE Strategy 2020 by regional governments reconfirms the commitment for strengthening of regional cooperation and networking of economies, and highlights the idea of sustainable development through increased coordination of national policies," said Bekteshi.
