The French Institute holds debate on innovations

Skopje, 8 February 2018 (MIA) – A lecture and a debate on young people and innovations will be held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje on Thursday. Titled "Power to the Imagination," the event is part of the French Institute's Night of Ideas global program that takes place in France and in 51 countries worldwide. 

École 42, the coding university in Paris, will be presented. Olivier Crouzet, its Director of Pedagogy, will speak about the digital transformation of education and will introduce Europe's largest startup incubator, Station F.

Volhan Salai, the only Macedonian student attending École 42, will also make a presentation. Radmil Polenakovikj, a professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, will speak about local innovations, and Kristijan Danailovski, the co-founder of the biggest Macedonian animation firm FX3X, will participate in the discussion, as well. 

Christian Timonier, the Ambassador of France to Macedonia, will open the debate. 

Night of Ideas is organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, and the Prof. Dr. Dimitar Stamboliev Foundation. mr/10:23
