Pianist Dunja Ivanova holds concert

Skopje, 16 May 2018 (MIA) - Macedonian pianist Dunja Ivanova is to hold Wednesday evening a concert in chamber hall of the Macedonian Philharmonics. The programme will feature works by contemporary composers and guest at the concert will be Macedonian composer Ana Pandevska.

The concert will include several compositions from The Piano movie as well as The Heaven Ladder by Terry Reilly and Clapping Music by Steve Reich, all representatives of late 20th century minimalist movement.

Dunja Ivanova (1985) got piano master degree in Skopje (2010), Philosophy Master Degree- Skopje (2009) and received PhD degree at Faculty for Philosophy (2015). She works as piano teacher at National Music and Ballet Center in Skopje since 2007.

Her career includes performances: Cite des Arts Paris (2009), Sarajevo Winter festival (2010), Ragusa, Sicily (2005), Musica viva (2004, 2007, 2008), Manaki brothers Film Festival -Bitola (2004), Days of Polish culture (2003), Days of Macedonian music (2006, 2007, 2008, 2010), Skopje summer festival (2005, 2008, 2010, 2013), Ohrid summer festival (2008)…

She is also the author of publications: Aesthetics experience of music (2010), Multiplicative use of music in education of children (2010) and Children and music in virtual reality (2012). sk/10:56
