Brussels, 23 January 2018 (MIA) - The European future of Macedonia was the focal point of Tuesday's meeting in Brussels of Macedonia's Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov and Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
"The biggest patriotic duty of our generation is to make sure we catch the EU train and ensure European future, stability and prosperity for the Macedonian citizens!," Minister Dimitrov wrote on Twitter.
During his trip to Brussels, Dimitrov is scheduled to meet with European Commission Vice-President Frans Timmermans, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Tibor Navracsics, and Director General for Enlargement Christian Danielsson.
He will also hold talks with representatives of the EC President's Office, Jean Claude Juncker, and Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).
By an invitation of Børge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum, FM Dimitrov on Jan. 24-26 will take part in the 48th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. He will join the Macedonian delegation led by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, the MoFA said in a press release. ba/14:20
